How Coaching Works

A simple, step-by-step system designed to keep you progressing without stress, confusion or overwhelm.


1. Choose Your Package

Pick the level of support that fits your goals and budget — Base, Shift or Apex Coaching.

2. Check your email for app access

You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access the Progress One app, along with any onboarding forms I need you to complete.

3. Set up your app and profile

Create your login, complete your setup questions, and follow the in-app instructions so I can understand your goals, experience, equipment and schedule.

4. Connect your integrations

Connect any integrations you’d like to use (Apple Health, Google Fit, MyFitnessPal, etc.) so we can track your activity, steps and nutrition in one place.

5. Start training, get feedback & adjust

Begin your training plan in the app and track your sessions. Depending on your package, you’ll receive ongoing feedback, check-ins and adjustments to keep you progressing.

I’m Chris — an online fitness coach, Level 2 & 3 qualified Personal Trainer, and an MNU Certified Nutritionist.
I help real people get stronger, lose weight and build confidence through simple, sustainable training and nutrition that fits their lifestyle.

Why I coach

I’ve struggled with my weight, balance, and consistency while working a busy full-time job — so I understand how hard it can be to look after yourself when life gets hectic.
Progress One was built to make health and fitness simpler, more achievable, and less overwhelming for people who feel exactly like I did.

I combine structured programming with evidence-based nutrition and weekly support. No extreme diets, no complicated rules, and no pressure — just clear guidance you can actually stick to.

FAQ

Do I need any experience to get started?
No. All packages are beginner-friendly. Whether you’re new, returning after time off, or rebuilding confidence, everything is designed to meet you where you are.
Do I need a gym membership?
No. You can train at home or in a gym with any package. Base includes Home and Bodyweight programmes, and Shift /Apex can be personalised for the equipment you have.
Is this suitable if I work full-time or have a busy schedule?
Yes — my coaching is built specifically for people with busy lives. Your plan is shaped around the time, energy and equipment you actually have.
Do I need to track calories?
Only if it suits you. Tier 2 and Premium include calorie/protein guidance, but tracking is never forced — we can use alternatives if you prefer.
How do the check-ins work?
Coaching Lite: weekly written check-in in the app.
Premium Coaching: detailed written check-in + weekly 1:1 video call.
What happens after I sign up?
You’ll receive an email with instructions to access the app, complete your setup form, and connect integrations like Apple Health or MyFitnessPal.
What equipment do I need?
Whatever you already have. Your plan can be written for a full gym, dumbbells, bands, or home bodyweight.
Is there a minimum contract?
Base & Shift: no minimum commitment.
Apex Coaching: 3-month minimum due to the level of support.
Can I switch packages later?
Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade anytime.
What app do you use?
Everything runs through the Progress One app (powered by Everfit) for training, tracking, check-ins and messaging.
What if I’m nervous or feel unfit?
